Why pay $6 for Starbucks? I whisk mine in seconds
Illustrative: a creator films the Electric Matcha Whisk at $24.99 beside a cafe cup, whisks a latte in one take and ends on the first sip.

Summary
| Roster | Ten creators, two going live at a time | Creators live by week: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. Ramp of six weeks. Proposed. |
|---|---|---|
| Who | Latte makers, coffee switchers, gear fans | People who already film drinks and kitchen routines. They know the drink; I am learning the category. |
| Production | 7 videos per creator per week | 303 creator videos a month at ten creators. Proposed volume, Calculated total. |
| Pay | Three bands, caps from $600 to $1,500 | Starter $300 base, $600 cap; Standard $500, $1,000; Premium $800, $1,500. Proposed. |
| Bonus | $50 flat past 100,000 views | One bonus per creator per month. Bonus at the cap: Starter $300, Standard $500, Premium $700. |
| Compliance | A claims sheet copied from your site | Creators quote only those lines. A video outside the sheet is pulled and earns no bonus. |
| Category rule | Matcha is food: taste, never outcomes | Creators describe taste, price and process, and give caffeine as the brand words it: 80mg caffeine. |
| Goal | $1 per 1,000 views | Target cost per 1,000 views, Proposed. The simulator's base case is $5.74, so there is a gap to close. |
| Report | Every Monday, by creator and format | Views, cost per 1,000 views, losers flagged, next test. You never have to ask. |
| Decision | You sign the sheet, bands and ceiling | Nobody goes live until you approve the claims sheet, the three bands and the $15,000 monthly ceiling. |

History
Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, and the paid ad engine alongside it. The numbers below come from videos that program produced.
This is the Tabs playbook pointed at matcha: a small roster, tight briefs, pay tied to output, losers killed early. I have not run this category. I will start with MatchaBar's own pages, from the Electric Matcha Whisk to the Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder, and let the creators teach me the rest.

Why now
1,021
Reviews to point at
The site shows 4.8 out of 5 on 1,021 reviews. Creators can send viewers to proof that is already on the page.
Published312,300+
Customers who already buy
MatchaBar shows 312,300+ Verified Customers. That is a ready pool to invite first, and to ask what they already film.

Would recommend
The review summary shows 98% would recommend this product. Creators lean on it only if the claims sheet lists it.

Part 4 of 15
Principles
One number to protect
Cost per 1,000 views, target $1. The simulator's base case is $5.74, so the first job is closing that gap, not adding creators.
Seven videos a week per creator
Volume finds hooks. Ten creators at seven a week is 303 creator videos a month: enough to run one variable per test and kill losers early.
Claims sheet before camera
Every creator gets the sheet: Ceremonial Grade Since 2014, Grown in Japan's top tea region, 80mg caffeine. Nothing outside it goes live.
Pay for output, bonus for breakouts
A base inside a band, a cap that tops out at $1,500 for Premium, and $50 flat when a video passes 100,000 views. One bonus per creator per month.

One channel for everything
#briefs
Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers
MartaMon 8:30 AM
This week's brief: Electric Matcha Whisk, $24.99. Hook to test: "Meet the first of its kind". One variable only, the opening line. Seven videos each, drafts in by Thursday.
JessMon 11:10 AM
Quick one: can I tell people matcha keeps them going all day?
No. Say it as the sheet has it: "80mg caffeine". No all-day promise. If a viewer asks for more, point them to the product page.
ReporterAppMon 9:00 AM
Monday report posted: views and cost per 1,000 views by creator and by format, losers flagged, next test proposed. Target is $1.
MartaWed 2:15 PM
Leo, draft sent back: the caption says it helps you focus. That is not on the sheet. Reshoot the last line with "Smooth, vibrant, and naturally sweet." and resend.
ReporterAppFri 6:40 PM
Leo's whisk video passed 100,000 views, organic only. $50 flat logged for this month. One bonus per creator per month.
MartaSat 10:05 AM
Check before we boost Leo's video: no claim outside the sheet, and the link goes to the Starter Kit page.
Checked. The caption uses only sheet lines and the link goes to the Starter Kit page.
The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.
Part 5 of 15
Formats

Brief 01
Latte math
“Why Pay $6 for Starbucks?”
Phone on a counter, a cafe cup beside a whisked latte. Show the Electric Matcha Whisk at $24.99. One take, no edit.

Brief 02
Add water, whisk, done
“Add water, whisk, done.”
Top-down shot of the Electric Matcha Whisk and a glass. Real time, sound on, finish on the first sip.

Brief 03
First of its kind
“Meet the first of its kind”
Unbox the Starter Kit at $54.99: 30g Tin, Teaspoon, Electric Whisk. Hold each item to the lens.

Brief 04
On the road
“The perfect cup to take your lattes on the road!”
Film the walk out the door with the Matcha Thermos at $19.99 or the To-Go Latte Cup. Show the sip guard up close.

Brief 05
First sip
“Smooth, vibrant, and naturally sweet.”
Close-up of the Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder going into the cup, then a slow pour and a real reaction. No voiceover.
Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “Smooth, vibrant, and naturally sweet.”, “Ceremonial Grade Since 2014”, “Grown in Japan’s top tea region.”. Product names are said as printed.
Part 6 of 15
Recruiting
Four sources in
Home latte makers
Creators who already film drinks and kitchen gear. I would search for whisk, thermos and iced latte content on short video.
Coffee switchers
People posting about dropping the $6 latte. MatchaBar's own pages talk about ditching $7 lattes, so this audience already fits.
Existing customers
With 312,300+ Verified Customers and 1,021 reviews, some already film their routine. I would invite them first, through your channels.
Affiliate page check
I did not find an affiliate or ambassador page on the site, so there is no program to inherit. This would be a new one.
Five filters, fewer each step
1Kitchen on camera
Shows the actual making of a drink, not just a pose with a cup.
2Clean audio
Voice is clear on a phone; whisk and pour sounds carry the video.
3Hook in the first line
Opens with a line a viewer can repeat, like the formats above.
4Claims discipline
Passes a trial brief using only the sheet's lines, no extras.
5Steady cadence
Can deliver seven videos a week after a test week.
Part 7 of 15
Who

Never made matcha; films the first try straight from the kit.
Likely product: Starter Kit
Desk and gym drinker
Carries a drink to work or training and films the routine.
Likely product: To-Go Latte Cup
Left off, every time
Always left out: anyone who makes health outcome claims about matcha, accounts with bought followers, creators who will not use the claims sheet, and anyone who shows a minor drinking caffeine as a stunt. Category rule: matcha is food, so no medical promises, ever.

Claims

Quoted exactly as the brand publishes it.
“Smooth, vibrant, and naturally sweet.”
Taste hook and first-sip videos
“Ceremonial Grade Since 2014”
Intro line on any powder video
“Grown in Japan’s top tea region.”
Origin segment of a powder video
“80mg caffeine”
Any caffeine question; say it exactly
“Machine washable and BPA-free!”
To-Go Latte Cup videos only
“30-DAYS MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE”
Closing line before the link
Never said
Each one with the reason it stays out.
Never say matcha melts fat
A health outcome the brand does not state.
Never say it replaces medication
A medical promise; creators are not clinicians.
Never say it is organic
A certification the site does not show.
Never say it has no caffeine
Contradicts the caffeine line on the sheet.
Never say every order ships free
The site words shipping with conditions, so a blanket promise misleads.
Never say you can buy it in stores
No store listing appears on the site; the shop is online.
To confirm with the brand
Held until someone on the brand side signs off.
Matcha provides steady energy for 3-4 hours, unlike coffee’s quick spike.
Brand wording, but it compares with another drink; confirm before creators repeat it.
Barista-Quality Lattes at Home—For Under $2
A price comparison tied to a specific product line; confirm which products it covers.

For creators whose videos already carry views and who follow the claims sheet without reminders.
Bonus at the cap: $700
Under 100,000 views
$0
The base pay covers the work.
+$50 flat
Whatever the band.
Top-up to your cap
Bonus = band cap − base pay.
- One bonus per creator per month: $50 flat, when a video passes 100,000 views.
- Per video: the 100,000 views must come from a single video, not a sum of several.
- Organic views only: boosted or paid views do not count toward the bonus.
- No bonus on a video that broke the claims sheet or the category rule.
Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.
The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.
Part 11 of 15
Simulator
Base case: 303 videos, 1.8M views, $10,050 monthly cost, $5.74 per 1,000 views against $1. To hit it, 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.
To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.
Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.
Part 11 of 15, continued
What moves the result
| If the median is | Views / month | Monthly cost | Cost / 1K | Hits target |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 750 | 1.4M | $10,050 | $6.96 | No |
| 1,500 | 1.8M | $10,050 | $5.74 | No |
| 3,000 | 2.4M | $10,050 | $4.24 | No |
| If the viral share is | Views / month | Monthly cost | Cost / 1K | Hits target |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.3% | 1.2M | $10,000 | $8.44 | No |
| 0.5% | 1.8M | $10,050 | $5.74 | No |
| 1% | 2.9M | $10,150 | $3.52 | No |
The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.
Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

Warm-up
Two creators a week
Creators go live by week: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. Claims sheet signed first; first test is the opening line on the Electric Matcha Whisk.
Month 1
Hook library starts
Seven videos per creator per week, one variable per test, losers killed early. Base pay only while we learn what holds.
Month 2
Double down
Keep formats near the $1 target, cut the rest. Move the best creators up a band, toward the Premium cap of $1,500.
Month 3
Send winners to paid
Breakouts go to paid and point to the Starter Kit page. Full roster of ten, 303 creator videos a month.
Day 90
Review with you
Cost per 1,000 views against $1, from a base case of $5.74. We decide which formats and creators stay.
Ceiling
Monthly ceiling
All ten creators at the top cap, bonuses excluded: $15,000. Anything above that needs a new decision from you.
$15,000 Monthly ceiling, all 10 creators at the top cap, bonuses excluded Proposed
The roster grows by two creators a week, so hook performance can be read week over week instead of by anecdote.

Exit to paid
From organic to paid
Pick
Choose organic videos that pass 100,000 views, or sit near the $1 target, and passed the claims check.
Rights
Ask the creator for permission to run the video as an ad, in writing, before anything is boosted.
Boost
Run the winner as is, with the creator's hook untouched, and test one variable at a time.
Cut
Kill any boosted video that does not hold the target; return its slot to the next organic winner.
From the video to the checkout
- Send the Starter Kit videos to the Starter Kit page at $54.99.
- Close with free shipping at $39.99 or above, subscription orders included.
- Use the first-order offer where the sheet lists it: 12% off for an email.

Category rules
Matcha is food: taste, not outcomes
Creators talk about a drink people put in their mouth. These six rules keep every post inside what MatchaBar says itself.
Describe, do not promise
Taste, texture, price and how it is made. Health outcomes are off the table in captions, voiceover and comments.
Caffeine as written
Say 80mg caffeine, as the brand does. For newcomers, repeat the brand's note: if caffeine-sensitive, start with 1/2 tsp.
No medical talk
No advice on conditions or medication. If a viewer asks, point them to a professional.
Disclose the partnership
Every post carries a clear paid-partnership label using the platform's tool, as advertising rules ask.
Prices as the shop shows them
Quote prices exactly, such as $22.99 for the Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder. Mention offers only if the sheet lists them.
No borrowed fame
Do not suggest a famous person uses MatchaBar. Quotes from the brand's own pages are used word for word and only with sign-off.
The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
